Initially this didn't matter too much as I was using the DEQX with my Legend Big Reds for room correction only and didn't need to do any accurate measurements of speakers to make correction files.
I did get a print out of the frequency response of the mic so to a certain degree can make allowances for where the mic is inaccurate. I was a bit stuck at this point so have been using this mic without a cal file for my measurements. When I bought the DEQX I bought a calibrated Behringer ECM8000 from the US not realising that the DEQX would not read the cal file. I've been using a DEQX for around nine months now. I was just reading through an old thread on DEQX units and there was some talk about the use of the Earthworks M30 microphone versus the Behringer ECM8000 and also the use of the calibration files provided by DEQX.
